Someone Else’s Virus

The Covid exploded some plans for the week,
but didn’t sack me or my kids.
I won’t see my brother; the drug that I seek
(that nasty bacteria rids)
will have to be purchased an alternate way
(but I can adjust to that change).
A wrench has been thrown at some tasks. I’m okay,
and sorry that he’s feeling strange.
