Doing

I didn’t want to exercise today.
Considering a break, I thought I might
just hunker down and snuggle, in the way
I did when I was young and slept all night.
But something in my body seemed to say
“Just try it. You can stop if it’s not right.”
I gave the bike a spin. I grinned and bore it,
and must admit (of course), I’m better for it.
