Test Walk

I’m testing walking prudently today.
Instead of 60 minutes, I will bus
and promenade a quarter hour, say,
and I won’t quibble with my age, or cuss
about a change that may not go away.
I’ll choose supportive shoes with zero fuss.
In truth my status could be so much worse,
I’ll leave this brief reminder in my verse.
